Version 3.10 to 3.19 History
VERSION 3.10 January 1992
FIX 1: An error in creating Version 3.9 caused me to
cause a fatal error when using the <SHIFT><F2> pop-up
utility.
FIX 2: When importing K8CC using a .TXT file in a
mixed mode contest, the report sent wasn't adjusting
for the proper mode. (ie. 599 to 59)
FIX 3: The DXCC report format has been adjusted for
the new ability to use 8 characters in the frequency
field.
FIX 4: When entering calls in the Net Operations
program, you would get a fatal error if the Name was
greater than 10 characters long.
VERSION 3.11 September 1992
ENHANCEMENT 1: You can import from more log formats:
WB2OPA, N6TR, KD7P and Total Ham
ENHANCEMENT 2: A Packet Window has been added.
ENHANCEMENT 3: Log File Indexing has been added.
This drastically reduces the time required to write
new entries to the file.
ENHANCEMENT 4: Logs can be incremented in a choice
of order, callbook, alphabetical OR cronological.
ENHANCEMENT 5: You can search for partial calls or
dates.
ENHANCEMENT 6: 8 bit characters can now be entered
for use of special accent characters when using a
non United States keyboard.
ENHANCEMENT 7: The ability to add flags for 10-10
numbers or grid squares has been added.
ENHANCEMENT 8: New reports have been added for 10-10
numbers and Japanese Prefectures.
ENHANCEMENT 9: VHF frequencies have been added to
the report selection.
FIX 1: K1EA contest file import has been adjusted
to allow proper importation of VHF frequencies.
FIX 2: Import files have also be adjusted to
account for the new formats of WB2DND and DX Log.
FIX 3: Hitting different control sequences while in
the Net Operations program would lock up the keyboard
if you didn't have a printer connected.
VERSION 3.12 September 1992
ENHANCEMENT 1: Help windows have been added to every
menu.
ENHANCEMENT 2: Upon importing logs, errors can either
be reported to the printer or to a report file.
FIX 1: Version 3.11 had so many new features that it
no longer worked with computers that had only 640k of
memory. The program now fits within 640k again. The
only sacrifice is that the 20 pop-up utilities are
available only with the Master Log or Net Operations
programs.
VERSION 3.13 October 1992
FIX 1: The ability to print in the QSL Card program
was accidentially disabled as well as some reports in
version 3.12.
FIX 2: The 10-10 report had problems that are now fixed.
VERSION 3.14 November 1992
FIX 1: Additional refinements were necessary in the Log
Transfer Import program.
VERSION 3.15 December 1992
FIX 1: Since Version 3.11, the program would lock up
often when exiting the software.
FIX 2: The QSO count was not being displayed properly
once you had logged over 32,000 QSOs.
VERSION 3.16 January 1993
FIX 1: Some unusual things were happening when creating
a new QSL format or using the Large Letters.
FIX 2: Calling up this screen for the software history
was not working properly.
FIX 3: When creating the new help windows one was over-
looked in the DXCC Countries program causing the program
to crash when you tried to list the countries.
FIX 4: The Packet Window had been disabled since version
3.12.
VERSION 3.17 January 1993
ENHANCEMENT 1: The Transfer Files program was upgraded
in include import routines for K1EA's BIN files and K8CC's
SDF files.
ENHANCEMENT 2: An import routine was added for KI6LO's

received disk 3 blank.
VERSION 3.19 February 1993
ENHANCEMENT 1: The sequential order you select in the
Master Log program is retained for the next time you
use the program.
ENHANCEMENT 2: The 20 Pop-Up Utilities have been spruced
up. Since version 3.11, memory constraints made it so I
could only make them availble in the Master Log and Net
Operations programs. You can now access them from every
program again. Also, a help window has been added for
each utility.
ENHANCEMENT 3: When running packet, a received bell
signal will cause a low pitched tone. This will happen
even if the packet window is not open.
FIX 1: The packet window was not receiving data if the
serial cables Data Carrier Detect was not wired properly.
FIX 2: The highlight color could not be permanently
changed.
FIX 3: Using the K1EA Version 8 import there were a few
snags. The frequency wasn't correct when you don't use
a direct VFO input. The mode wasn't correct in the
Sweepstakes contests. Also, the ability to properly
identify VHF frequencies and flag grid squares has been
added.
FIX 4: The use of some DOS memory managers would conflict
with the ISAM TSR.
FIX 5: The program would crash the 10-10 report if the
same 10-10 number was encountered twice.
FIX 6: Some printers would be accused of not being ready
by the program even though they were.
FIX 7: If you were printing a selective log more than
once, the percent done indicator would be inacurate and
the previous log file would not have been closed.
