Version 3.20 to 3.29 History

VERSION 3.20 March 1993

ENHANCEMENT 1: A separate area within the system
parameters program has been added for defining path names.
Spliting up your file types amoung sub-directories has
	been more refined.

ENHANCEMENT 2: Integration with SAM and HamBase databases
	has been added.

ENHANCEMENT 3: A new program has been added for checking
file status and pathnames. If you more your software to
a new computer or directory within the same computer, this
program will help set-up the system parameters by finding
all your sub-directories. Previously you had to re-install
from your original floppies to do this.

ENHANCEMENT 4: More control characters have been added to
the QTH and Comment windows. Also, help screens have been
	added.

ENHANCEMENT 5: A Special Codes Report has been added. It
lists the quantity of the special codes that are found
	throughout the files.

ENHANCEMENT 6: You can print labels from the QTH window.

ENHANCEMENT 7: When in the Master Log program, all the
QSOs for a particular call will be searched to find
previously logged name and QTH information. If found, it
will be displayed. You will not have to re-type this
	information on subsequent QSOs.

ENHANCEMENT 8: In the Master Log program, the logged times
are displayed in local time as well as their entered UTC
	counterpart.

FIX 1: I had messed up the selected logs printout program
	in the previous version.

FIX 2: You couldn't get rid of lines in the comment
	window.

FIX 3: It would take several passes when using the Global
Remove feature to sometimes delete a whole selection.

FIX 4: In the QSL print program, if you used the one call
feature and then printed a list, the list didn't start from
	the beginning.

VERSION 3.21 May 1993

FIX 1: There was problems deciphering the QSL sent and
	received data for KD7P imports.

FIX 2: The net operations would error when trying to
move the stations worked to the permanent log.

FIX 3: If you combined your Hambase files into one file,
	my program wouldn't access it.

FIX 4: This is embarassing. A silly glitch made it so
you couldn't import version 3.14 or higher WJ2O log files.

FIX 5: The F10 popup utility was not functioning properly
	in the last version.

FIX 6: Adding a <RETURN> key to the end of a Packet
	Command Key wouldn't stay permanent.

VERSION 3.22 June 1993

FIX 1: If you used the dd/mm/yy format, the program was
reversing the order of the time and not the date.

FIX 2: The Reset Indexies program was erroring when
attempting to place US Calls with just a prefix in
	callbook order.

FIX 3: On some packet modems, you could not receive
any data when using COM port 2.

FIX 4: Importing WJ2O format was dropping the last
	record.

FIX 5: The Reset Indexies program was improperly placing
calls that had a portable designation at the beginning and
started with a number at the beginning of the file when
	using alphabetical order.

VERSION 3.23 July 1993

ENHANCEMENT 1: When a U.S. State is properly identified
in the QTH field the state name is displayed.

ENHANCEMENT 2: The <F2> Pop-Up utility that used to
display U.S. State abbreviations has been combined in
with the <SHIFT> <F2> utility. The <F2> utility is now
a reference for the Flags used in the Master Log program.
The two data files STATEABR.DAT and STATECAP.DAT are no
longer necessary and have been combined in one file
	named USSTATES.DAT.

ENHANCEMENT 3: When placing a flag, you may start with
either a backslash or a forward slash.

ENHANCEMENT 4: The <F8> Pop-Up utility for log codes
has been improved to have full editing capability
including mouse support. This virtually eliminates
the need for the Log Codes program module. As this is
my first attempt at adding mouse control, I'm very
	interested in your comments.

ENHANCEMENT 5: The VHF bands are now included in the
System Parameters so you can enter your VHF Antennas
and Rigs along with the HF.

ENHANCEMENT 6: The address window in the Master Log
program has been improved. Also, you can get to the
window by pressing <ALT> A almost anywhere in the
software package similiar to a pop-up utility.

ENHANCEMENT 7: Interfacing with the Buckmaster CD
ROM callsign database has been added.

FIX 1: Still had more problems with receiving packet
when using COM 2. Sure hope I've got it this time.

VERSION 3.24 August 1993

ENHANCEMENT 1: A window has been added for access to
	the W6GO QSL Manager database.

ENHANCEMENT 2: Additional refinements were added to
the K1EA BIN file import routines.

ENHANCEMENT 3: The ability to import files for NZ8P's
QSO Pro logging program has been added.

ENHANCEMENT 4: Refinements to the Packet Window are
automatic scroll in both the receive and the transmit
window and the ability to pass through a <Control> Z.

FIX 1: The Net Operations program needed to modified
to accomodate the new USSTATES.DAT file.

FIX 2: The country prefix file was not resetting
properly after making an adjustment in the DXCC
	Countries program.

FIX 3: A small adjustment had to be made to
accomodate the successful import of WB2DND ver. 5
	style of files.

VERSION 3.25 October 1993

ENHANCEMENT 1: The ability to scroll back 10 pages
in the packet window has been added.

ENHANCEMENT 2: A simple way to deactivate DXCC
Countries has been added. Separate counts are now
kept on the Active and Deleted.

ENHANCEMENT 3: An import module for Hyperlog has
	been added.

ENHANCEMENT 4: If a grid square is properly entered
with the QSO, the bearings and distance is automatically
	calculated to that location.

ENHANCEMENT 5: A new pop-up window has been added
for quick reference of Grid Squares. If you enter a
grid square, the latitude, longitude, bearing and
distance is calculated. If you only know the latitude
and longitude, the grid square is calculated.

ENHANCEMENT 6: A DXCC window has been added for
quick reference to your needed countries list.

ENHANCEMENT 7: The monthly log that I removed
several versions ago was replaced due to user demand.

ENHANCEMENT 8: If you have a QSO logged that you
don't want used for any award tracking (like if you
work a pirate) yet you want to keep the info in the
log, place a flag of /D0.

ENHANCEMENT 9: Additional directories have been
added for reports and indexes for better orginazation
of your hard drive. All files that the Reset Indexes
program creates now have the extension .INX and no
longer .DAT. This helps so you can back up all your
.DAT files knowing that you're not wasting time with
files that can be easily regenerated.

FIX 1: After encountering a bad call in the N6TR
transfer import routine, the program was thinking that
it was at the end of the file.

FIX 2: If you didn't have a directory specified for
Buckmaster, the program would go looking for
Buckmaster files on your current directory.

FIX 3: The default record wasn't holding a frequency
	longer than four characters.

FIX 4: The <F10> Pop Up utility was not working from
within the Net Operations Module if your sequence was
	callbook order.

VERSION 3.26 November 1993

FIX 1: The Packet window was cutting off characters again.

FIX 2: You could not edit the path names for the Index or
	the Report directories.

FIX 3: The path names were cutting off at 20 characters in
	length.

FIX 4: The program named LOG.EXE was changed to LOGMENU.EXE
to avoid naming conflicts it was having with other DOS
	utility software.

VERSION 3.27 December 1993

ENHANCEMENT 1: The ability to import files from Easy DX
and WF1B logging programs has been added.

FIX 1: Some adjustments were necessary to the Hyperlog
	import.

FIX 2: A minor snag in the install program was causing
an update installation to not go smoothly.

VERSION 3.28 February 1994

ENHANCEMENT 1: Additional keypad scrolling keys have be
added to the Master Log program. <CONTROL> <HOME> takes
you to the first QSO with the displayed station, <CONTROL>
<END> takes you to the last QSO. <CONTROL> <PAGE UP>
	scrolls up 100 QSOs and <CONTROL> <PAGE DOWN> scrolls
	down 100 QSOs.

ENHANCEMENT 2: Options have been added to the Master Log
program. You can turn off the Multiple QSO window and/or
you can have automatic insertion of the current time and
date upon adding a new QSO.

ENHANCEMENT 3: The third party callsign databases (ie.
SAM) can be used to look up the Name and QTH for a QSO
	upon adding new entries.

ENHANCEMENT 4: The ability to use non-standard addresses
and interrupts for your communications ports has been
added. Also, 16-bit interrupts can now be utilized.

ENHANCEMENT 5: Rig control for the Kenwood TS-940 has
been added. Others will be added very soon.

ENHANCEMENT 6: More options for the Master Log program.
You can start editing from any field you select, not
just the callsign field. Also, you may set the option
to skip certain fields to speed data entry.

FIX 1: Various quirks with the packet window were looked
after like editing the command keys, automatic line feed
in the transmit window and the scroll.

FIX 2: A 3 by 3 call is now permissable. The station
	TGX9AJJ caused this requirement.

FIX 3: A portable designation like "/1" added to Alaska,
Hawaii and other American Posessions will change the DXCC
country to The Unites States, you no longer have to use
	"/W1".

FIX 4: A Canadian portable desingation will now have it's
	province properly identified.

VERSION 3.29 March 1994

ENHANCEMENT 1: The default record information now can be
edited using the <SHIFT> <F9> pop-up utility. This allows
you to make changes from anywhere in the system and not
	just the Master Log program

ENHANCEMENT 2: The software was put on an overall memory
diet. Not only are the executable files smaller, but they
	take less memory to run.

ENHANCEMENT 3: A bunch more controls have been made mouse
	aware.

ENHANCEMENT 4: A third import routine has been added for
WB2DND files. I have discovered that he has logs in three
	different lengths: 78, 93 and 126 bytes.

ENHANCEMENT 5: An import routine has been added for K8CC's
NAF files from his version 4 and earlier programs.

ENHANCEMENT 6: New import routines have been added for
DXBase, Logic3, Ham Windows and EI5DI's contest log.

	ENHANCEMENT 7: The <SHIFT> <F10> Pop-Up Utility now takes
full advantage of your computer's expanded memory allowing
screen viewing of reports as large as your memory will
hold. Also added the ability to delete reports from within
	the utility.

ENHANCEMENT 8: The <F10> Pop-Up Utility is not accessable
from the Net Operations or the Master Log program. A new
menu option in Net Operations called View replaces the
	<F10> but is faster.

FIX 1: When printing QSO records in the Master Log program
the database window was making a mess of the screen if you
	had a callsign database selected.

FIX 2: The N6TR import routine was adjusted for CQ World
Wide and Sweepstakes logs to account for his recent slight
	changes in the heading format.

FIX 3: 10-10 numbers are recognized in NZ8Ps import files
and are placed in the flags field.
